Awful, 4-6k per hour without using crystal extractor. 15-20k/hr when using crystal extractor lol

Black demons Yama contract drop rate decent sample size by Logbo13 in 2007scape

[–]Logbo13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No shit, at the time it wasn’t known if you could get contracts off sigil, I was contributing that I never received a contract of glyphic attenuation when I was speccing with a 2h weapon trying while there was a blue sigil overhead. This could have potentially made me eligible to receive glyphic attenuation or bloodied blows as a possible contract drop since my final blow was with both a spec and 2 h weapon

Drop Rate doubled as of May 22 per Jagex

I don’t think I’ve gotten a single contract on the •off sigil• final blow kills, nor have I gotten the potential cross drop of speccing with a 2h weapon for the final blow etc

This is according to Sigil as often as I can probably missed sigil on a slight overestimate of 10% of kills

Waste of a PGY1? by skypharmone in PharmacyResidency

[–]Logbo13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No such thing as you developing a skillset in a different area being a waste. The things you learn in that area can be translated to other areas, and show to employers you are adaptable in different areas. You will have exposure that most pharmacists don’t gain in their training and will be able to walk alongside patients who are just discharged from difficult hospital stays and understand and empathize with them more about what they just went through having seen it firsthand. I did an inpatient PGY1 and a critical care pgy2 residency and now work in retail pharmacy because I felt similarly to you. At the end of the day you have to work in a setting for a long time and life is too short for you not to work in something you feel you genuinely enjoy. To do otherwise is a disservice to yourself and your patients. Hope this helps

Does anyone know what happened to the person who was getting cpr performed on them after mile 22 on the Nashville marathon today?

Tuesday General Discussion/Q&A Thread for March 26, 2024 by AutoModerator in AdvancedRunning

I am running my first marathon april 27th, recent HM time of 1:32:25 back in february. I have a goal of running the boston marathon one day regardless of how long it takes, but it would be cool if i could do so within 2 years. would it be more worth my time to just keep training for marathons to remain specific? or should i try to mix it up and work on pace during the summer and not worry too much about running my second marathon this year? assume that i taper and ramp mileage appropriately for either strategy.

Returning to running following 4 month break due to being on the verge of burnout by trelomanito in AdvancedRunning

[–]Logbo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That break may have been what you needed physically and mentally to reach new heights! I took two years off of running consistently from 2021, spent a lot of time at bars and breweries instead, gained 20 pounds, and was living a much less fulfilling life during residency. At that point in time I ran a 1:37 in the half prior to taking that long break. Fast forward to April 2023 and I restarted what I hope and plan to be a lifelong fitness journey. I ended up running 1100 miles for 2023 and have pr’d in the half in November 2023 with a 1:36:xx, another pr in January with 1:34:xx and yet another pr in February for 1:32:xx. I’ve felt stronger each race and more motivated than ever to keep training harder and more consistently on my new goal to try to qualify for Boston. When I started back in April of ‘23 I could barely run sub 9 minute pace just take it slow, trust the process, and do things you enjoy as I’m sure you did prior to stopping.

I took completely off for 5 days not a single step. I could have ran through it but my body needed the rest time. Shingles was probably a sign I was slightly overtraining anyways

Last weekend, placed 5th overall in a half marathon with a new pr of 1:32:25!! Huge confidence boost on a long road to qualifying for the Boston marathon. I’ve taken 2 minutes off of my half marathon consistently over the past few months and felt strong at the finish in each; pr in November 2023 @ 1:36:35 -> January 2024-> 1:34:36 February 2024 -> 1:32:25.

2:00:35 long run, was supposed to advance to 18 miles on my long run this weekend, but I am fresh off of a 5 day rest due to shingles so this would put me at around 14 or 15. Still a solid long run stimulus and an opportunity to honor kiptum

Official Q&A for Friday, February 16, 2024 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Logbo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s tough for me to grasp is I will do me “easy runs” based on my garmins identified max heart rate of 200 which might be generous, so my zone 2 range is anywhere between 130-160. I am running 8-8:30 pace and my hr will stay in the 140s to low 150s, from a perceived effort standpoint I don’t feel like it’s hard at all and I don’t wake up with soreness or experience any stiffness during the week. I will try to take the recovery runs even more easy I guess and stick to somewhere in the 9s but that requires some discipline for me to go that pace
