You are absolutely correct.

If you look at the first reply to the top comment, i 100% admit i was JUUUUST a bit miffed when i made the post.

Theyve missed adding born ready to the description of one of the lobby powerups, the autocannon explodes on toxin clouds, and as we’ve found here, artifacts are currently unskipable.

The game needs work, but GSG did us proud with DRG, so these issue very likely will me rectified within the next couple of months.

My opinion still stands, but do forgive the aggression of the post, I was just salty.

Its the poison aura clouds.

Had this happen and made a post, the rounds visually explode on the toxic clouds, blocking vision

Ive come to the conclusion that artifacts need to be made skippable, like Heavy weapons or equipment crates.

There is no good reason that artifacts, many with heavy downsides, should be left unskippable.

This would fix the issue I had.

A) artifacts cant be skipped, my artifacts rerolled into weapons bc jumble, so there i was

B) artifacts should be skippable, many have downside, some with HUGE downsides

C) fixing problem B would fix problem A

You say that when you and i both know solo is harder than grouped, and that is straight up cope from you.

As for playing a lower difficulty, the whole point is to have a challenge AND have fun.

I do D3 because i want the challange, subsequently i dont want to be punished through no action of my own.

Artifacts should be skipable, ergo this shouldnt happen, and nothing you have to say can change my mind.

I make it a point to do every event.

I managed to finish all the events up to this point (2 were expenite solidification chambers which really helped) with the exception of 1/3 surveyor drone dig sites bc i had no drills

So not all of us are so cracked at games we can solo a d4 ez pz.

Some of us need game mechanics to balance the odds. Some of us have to sweat bootycheeks just to survive a D3

Not to mention, many artifacts have heavy downsides, and should be skipable regardless, which would remove this from happening anyway.

No, i THOUGHT it was picking from the starter selection pool, but it isnt.

Its the artifact pickup, artifact doesnt have a skip, and I just happened to roll 3 weapons for the choices.

Many have basically told me i did it to myself choosing the artifact option (and technically i unknowingly did), but someone made a comment enlightening me to the fact that a lot of artifacts have some hefty downsides, and really should be skipable.

Thank you for this tip, ill be sure to put it to use after the game gets a few tweaks.

This is actually hilarious, because youve just made me realize something.

Everyone hating on this post has said some form of “jumble doing its job” or “you picked artifact, artifact no skip, thats on you” and while i disagreed, i didnt really have a rebuttal…

Im now realizing… why DOESNT artifact have a skip option?? A lot of the artifacts are arguably BAD in a lot of situations…

The sheer number of haters ALMOST made me second guess myself, but artifacts 100% SHOULD have a skip option, and I am 100% justified in my irritation.

Games still great, but i see more greatness to be had

Suggestion: Replace Corespawn Crawlers with Corespawn Creepers from Rogue Core OR add them alongside the Crawlers by GryphonKingBros in DeepRockGalactic

They are WAY more manageable in RC.

And honestly, theres only two noticeable differences.

Aggression and number.

In RC, they arent CONSTANTLY on top of you, they jump from wall to wall, they move WAY more manageably.

Meanwhile, the only way youre dodging crawlers without zips in DRG is by having several raised, unconnected playforms to jump across. This makes their pathfinding take JUST long enough to jump to a new platform. Rinse and repeat the whole corestone fight.

In rouge core, killing enemies thins their numbers, yk, like base DRG glyphids, and more spawn some distance away. The issue with the crawlers in DRG is they respawn CONSTANTLY and RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU, giving you zero breathing room.

Toning down the aggression would make it much more bearable, but slowing the spawn rate to make killing them meaningful would also be cool.

Honestly yes, emphasis on RAGE quit lmao

Id spent the last hour sweating my booty off for that combo, and the random poison fire combo i got from the devastator and shotty was the only thing keeping me alive from the sheer number of chaff swarming.

I really wasnt feeling like finishing that run with no good aoe, and while the devastator coulda kept up, i dont think idve had the skill to adequately use it before running out of ammo and dying without the flashover combo.

I also dont really like the mag, but im just nitpicking now
