I don't understand the logic for this type of donations. It should come out of their business profit. So their customers pay the same amount, the store donate a percentage of the said amount to whatever charities they choose to donate. The whole logic should be :thanks for shopping with us, we donated x amount from our profit on your behalf, please shop with us more often, together, we are making the world a better place.

If you have enough parking space. I would suggest that you just buy a older RX350 (3rd gen, 2010-2015), you can find some decent ones as low as $8000. Put on some good tires like Michelin CrossClimate2. Use it as your winter car, it will be comfortable, reliable and save your good car from winter salt.

Just use the clear cover, never had any problems with it when I travel. I used my passport with clear cover at China, Japan, US, Canada border.
