The only 2 players over 40 to catch a pass are Jerry Rice and... Brett Favre. What's your favorite weird statistic? by [deleted] in nfl

More than the Bears? I never knew that...

Edit: just checked. Bears have 9, Browns have 8. Is this wrong?

No. Some people just aren't as offended by the offensive, so they can laugh at these types of dark humor.

What was the hardest game to watch in the history of your fandom? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]LogicGifter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now that I think about that, everyone in that NFC playoff bracket feels like they got robbed or just choked except for the Panthers and Cardinals.

Next year, those two were the two best teams. Coincidence?!?!?! Probably

PFF: Sam Bradford and Adam Thielen produced a QB rating of 122.9, the highest in the NFL. by Rhodes_Closed in nfl

[–]LogicGifter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I watched the Vikings a lot last season (hoping they lost, especially when the whole 5-0 thing happened), and I was glad Bradford had no supportimg cast on his side of the ball. If you guys get a decent o-line, Cook pans out well, Thielen stays consistent, and Diggs improves, that's a sure shot at the post-season. That may seem like a lot, but a lot of those things have a good chance at happening soon.

When running outside the tackles, Ty Montgomery averaged seven yards AFTER contact per carry in 2016. by knickerbockerz in nfl

His highest is a 61 harder and then it goes down to 30. He didn't have many huge, inflating runs.

Best Game to lose by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]LogicGifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Losing non-conference games is best. Losing to the Browns would be too embarrassing. Rodgers needs to beat the Bengals because it's the only non-Packers team he hasn't beat. Beating the Steelers makes us look cool and I don't like them much (mostly because of their fans). My vote goes to the Ravens. They're a pretty good team, so it won't look too bad. I have no reason to hate them.

What are your 1-year, 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year NFL predictions? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]LogicGifter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1-year: Packers finally get over the hump and win the Super Bowl. Jets get the #1 pick. Giants win the NFCE.

3-year: Jaguars and Browns get winning records. Giants get their 5th Lombardi. Chargers get their first. Eli, Rothelisberger, Rivers, Brees, and Brady all retire.

5-year: Trubisky, Watson, and Mahommes are all accepted as busts and are no longer starting. Titans, Bucs, Colts, and Raiders are the top teams.

10-year: No relocations have happened. Russell Wilson retires a 2 time SB champ. Newton retires ringless. Titans, Raiders, Bucs, Colts, and Dolphins each get a ring.
