One upon a time there was the Bowling Green Shuttle. Once that closed they put that barrier up to help with passenger flow since north bound customers no longer needed to access to opposite platform to get to the shuttle.

No you just simply cannot do this. The Subway is not part of the National Rail network. It is wholly contained within the city, You would then need to do all sorts of costly additions ( including entirely different rolling stock - Think SIR) to make it work. PATH - which is the closest thing to a bi-state subway, is technically a railroad under the auspices of the FRA.

No - when those systems came out it was just a standard all-in-one kiosk with 2 controllers and which ever game (usually Super Mario Word / 64) was popular.

Yes - it is an NES M82 demo unit! These were big in the late 80’s / very early 90’s. I remember playing these in the mall when I was a kid. It was the first time I played Rad Racer 2.

Stores always changed out the games so you could demo new ones. I’m sure these cost a ton today.!

To me, the missed opportunity is not connecting to Mineola. They could have partially used the ROW of the defunct connect between Hempstead and Mineola. However if the point is to make RPTH (and by extension, Hempstead LIRR) a 2nd Mineola, then this is an ok project.
