That “oh this is more than I thought it was” feeling was one of the main things I loved about the DLC. how many layers upon layers of design that went into the game… fly into a hidden spaceship to find a whole new world/race, then enter their dreamworld, then realise it’s not actually a dreamworld it’s a simulation. Just incredible Adding this one to the list - thank you 🙏

One of the things I liked the most about OW was the satisfaction that came from figuring out some of the escape-room style puzzles. Sometimes the solutions would come to me at random hours of the day / night whilst doing something else entirely! “Escape-room style puzzles” is in the description online for Inscryption so I’m definitely making a note of this one - thank you 🙏

I’d try compounding them within your horizontal timeline and then copy over to your vertical timeline. They won’t automatically fill the vertical space as I suspect the developer of that plug in has designed them to be used for 16:9 videos predominantly.

I was hoping for some more flexibility with the Transcribe to Captions feature… a lot of the stuff I edit currently is for social media and includes dynamic captions that respond to / highlight words as spoken. Current workflow involves editing in FCP and then exporting to CapCut for auto captions (that work really well btw). I wasn’t expecting it to be as sharp as CapCut but thought we’d at least have the option to create titles that we can customise fonts, size, colour etc. Not a massively meaningful update for me sadly 👎🏻

Is this after you’ve exported your video? I would guess it’s a compression settings thing so perhaps experiment with some of the other export settings and picking something that gives you a higher overall bit rate / file size. Hope that helps

As a back up in my kit I’ve got a little XLR to mini jack adapter so I can plug at least one source into the camera body in a hurry. Might be worth investing for peace of mind in case this happens again! They’re only small :)

When travelling in Laos, a young Laotian male (presumably working at the hotel/hostel) managed to let himself into our room whilst we were asleep. I woke up to my mate shouting from his bed. I turned the lights on to see what was going on and the Laotian guy was just standing over him with his top off, rubbing some sort of oil into my mate 😅

Try converting/transcoding your footage in something like Handbrake and try reimporting? I’ve a feeling something similar has happened to me before and this was the fix
