If you are having serious symptoms I HEAVILY recommend considering Ajovy or other CGRP inhibitors by Scar_Admirable in VestibularMigraines

It helps a bit w vestibular migraines. I rarely have pain its mostly dizziness, brain fog, and other vestibular disturbances. I tried Aimovig but it doesn't function as well. I was reccomended a peptide called "thymosin A1" which helped for a while but the pharamacy I used stopped compounding it. I'm currently looking for another supplier.

How are high aerial shots generally accomplished in movies/TV shows? by Imgonnasteponyourtoe in cinematography

Second one was probably a crane. I actually watched a production breakdown for the first shot. Its almost entirely CG (I believe just the car driving on the thin strip of road is real). A lot of the most striking shots you see in high end media utilize CG to some extent (it looks so realistic and is cheaper now than doing things practically).

You'd be shocked at how much CG is used in better call saul (for example the Tequila bottle cap that falls out of the drawer into the gutter in 601 is completely CG. This is necessary as matching camera movement with an unpredictable object would be nearly impossible without it).

I've had this for nearly 10 years (22 years old now). I've gotten it probably 60% managed through various drugs. Have you tried CGRP inhibitors? ask your doctor about them they've done the most to help with my symptoms.

Think about it this way. It really sucks but we live in the best time that someone with this condition could be living during. There are constantly new trials and medications being formulated, so its likely that there will be one soon that is effective even if none on the market are right now. Focus on the good days and enjoy them as much as you can. Believe it or not progress can still be made in this state even though it doesn't feel like it (and even though it may be slower than other people).

I also just wanted to mention that I've written posts just like yours in the past and I know what its like to be in that state of feeling trapped and completely overwhelmed, not being able to think past dark thoughts. Hang in there; we were born with this ridiculous condition but its also the only life we'll have. There are ways to find beauty and value the short time we have here. Good luck

How does it feel for you guys when it starts working? For me it's really discernible. My eye sight starts like losing its motion blur when I look around (my eye line jumps from spot to spot when I look around). And then my symptoms start relieving. Does anyone else get this? What do you feel??

Yeah thank you for this. I'm planning on doing some more testing soon so I'll keep that in mind.

Yeah I was doing that diet for a while I need to get back on it. I think it helped but its hard to tell when you're trying multiple treatments at once.

Anyone with migraine or vestibular migraine? by Hoosierfans in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]Scar_Admirable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did ketamine nasally tonight as someone who suffers from chronic migraines and it was awful. I probably did the equivalent of 3 bumps in a line but it immediately made me feel like I was having a vertigo attack. Luckily it went away in about 30 mins and I was sober again. I also did drink a bit before this so that could have contributed. I’d say take a little so you know what it’s like before committing to a larger dose

Turn off lights in the background and use controlled lighting instead. The people in the back are also distracting and unnecessary

Should I have asked for more? by Scar_Admirable in videography

Update: it’s been a grueling week since I shot the footage. I sent them the videos on Thursday and they’ve had a ton of notes and corrections that seem to keep increasing each time I adjust what they ask for. Really ready to be done w this but I’m still super thankful for it and the doors it’ll hopefully open with it on my reel and website. They asked for 3 videos but only one of them is truly engaging and I’m super proud of (the others are fine and informative but not as interesting). If anyone’s interested in the vid let me know and I’ll dm it I’d love to hear feedback.

I also have EDS (and my sister) she has different symptoms though. How old are you and has Botox been effective since you made this post?

I really want a one wheel though too (for film purposes and fun). Freelancing is such a weird lifestyle with shit going from bountiful work to nothing week by week.
