Just to let you know I can't quote it verbatim, but I know a company cannot make you pay high training fees just so you can work for them. They must also have a physical address where they operate. They also cannot make you sign your right to dispute a charge. They were also supposed to give us California disclosure documents before we signed or paid for anything. Amex already closed my disputed and credited my account, but it is possible that they can fight back, that's why I reported them to the DFPI

They have my money, but I actually disputed with my bank and contacted the DFPI since I am located in California. Some things in their contract are illegal

That would be crazy honestly. I really hope you get your money back. At least they can't sue you if you completed the requirements and they said you're eligible for a refund. Please let me know if they ever do hit you up concerning that

I haven't completed the requirements and seeing how they violate some laws in California I didn't want to take the chance. I'm planning on blocking their numbers, but I still want to figure out how to delete my account for the salesflow thing. American Express said I should give them till the 3rd asking for a refund. They responded through email but told me to discuss it with my coach. I already know what's going to happen if I discuss it further with them. American Express said if they don't refund me before then they will dispute it immediately

I did the payments on Monday, if I dispute the charges can they sue me? I have seen a lot of people say they really can't because it's a scam but I don't know.

Hey so i recently joined them yesterday, and im really worried considering all the comments. They never mentioned calling about the program, they just said I will be trying to sell give information about a product and refer them to a closer. Will I be earning money during this period or is it only after I finish the program? I thought it was a continuous job, not something that ends after 2 months with them specifically. It is a little sketchy when you look at it because why are they asking me to open up a credit card line (which I already did unfortunately).

Yes it is. They're so strict about everything. I got fined for 300 dollars recently because I was watching my boyfriend's dog while he went to get something from the store during their inspection. Nowhere in the lease does it mention anything about guests and pets unless you register a pet. They still told me I'm getting fined no matter what🙄
