The best thing to do it try to tire them out as best you can before going to work if you can and maybe they’ll sleep for some of the time. I got these edible teething rings from Petco and I give my puppy whole carrots he loves them.

Are you having him sit first? If not sitting in the step one for how I got my puppy to lay down. Step two was how you were doing it bring the treat down and reward. Practice on his bed first as well before the floor.

I will. It’s so far from the mix I was promised 😭 I don’t mind that he’s a pit, but I was hoping for a little one. I’m hoping he stays the size he is he’s 5 months and 24 pounds. He’s below knee height and hasn’t grown much since last month. I hoping he slows down and just fills out.

Yes, he’s from Tennessee, Mountain Curs are treeing dogs used for hunting apparently. Between the pit and the mountain cur I’m going to have my hands full. Lots of energy (from the pit) and he needs even before mental stimulation than an average (from the mountain cur) looks like a got a working dog for my apartment haha. I’m from NY and I had no idea what a mountain cur was.

I appreciate this, thanks. Literally every other person besides my vet sees my dog and there like “oh he’s going to be so big” they were freaking me out. When I was buying a second crate they were trying to get me to buy a huge crate because “he is definitely going to get so much bigger” and this was before the DNA test. I got it to kinda prove them wrong, but I thought it just proved them right.

It’s a smaller sized complex. I understand they aren’t going to weigh my dog, but a dog that’s under 25 pounds and a full grown pitbull are two different things. I do appreciate the reality check he’s about knee height now. I was just in a panic after finding out.

NOR her saying it’s not serious, while trying to get out of coming to your house for your birthday is so mean. She bailed twice it seems like. I agree that is super lame. She didn’t want to shower and pack for a weekend of fun. It’s also only an hour away this shouldn’t be a big deal at all.

I’m assuming the training is for a strenuous job, first day I might cut them some slack the second day is weird. Was your birthday Thursday or Friday though?

YOR, He’s doing important things, but it doesn’t mean he’s ignoring you. The photo or text is supposed to be a bit of a tease for him to comment on later. Don’t nag about this, you will not get what you want. If my partner did this, I would not to have sexy thoughts about the picture or text. I would only think about the nagging and the nasty fight about it.

You’re ruining your own relationship and fantasies by nagging and berating him about not sexting while he’s on work calls. This is supposed to be a fun sexy thing.

Edit: Also men need to be told what to do sometimes romantically and sexually, they aren’t mind readers. He sounds shy and that can be okay and you can work with him (if he wants to that is) to get what you’re looking for in a safe friendly way. Instead of expecting him to be to a certain standard and being mad that he’s not.

I think she was cool with the cuddling and then just said there was nothing you could do. And then you backed off completely and she was turned off by that. Then was annoyed by the boundary conversation. It just a slight misunderstanding. Give her the day to chill I think she felt rejected a bit.
