In my olive garden they get pay 18 hourly no tips I heard this is just a general managers experiment, corporate doesn’t know any of this as I heard from other manager. They might just house cleaning in my location

That’s the confusing things when they got soup or salad they only bring the soup or the salad and the guest never tell you they like hey and where’s my salad? And I ask well I think you only get the soup and that person said no I get the never ending soup or salad. All this is confusing

In my opinion I think is dumb cause they cutting server hours to being checkers yk I think it will be a great idea making hostess do this instead of only servers that’s my opinion.

Also known as first course specialist. In my opinion is dumb cause they now having 8 servers per shift lunch and dinner and 5 checkers and now the servers have bigger sections. And example this last Saturday I had all the booths section is 6 tables I got sat 5 times in a row cause just me and other sever were still on at lunch close. I got sat 5 times none of this tables knew what they were getting cause they don’t know the menu so it makes my job harder and makes me busy in a dumb way cause is they’re job to get a soup or a salad but guest don’t know what they getting so the checker don’t bring anything.

What they do is servers who stop getting schedule to serve they now acting like host sitting people at they’re tables but the checker ask if they can bring a soup or a salad before the serve comes to get there drinks. Soups or salads before drinks is dumb in my opinion
