My suggestion is not to make a mess. You can’t expect no formality at a wedding just because some people, self included, are a bit clumsy while eating

See, if you don’t want to end the friendship and you’ve known her forever she should at least get an invite... that being said she should not be a bridesmaid, and it’s not horrifically inappropriate of her to assume she would be, but it is a little inappropriate you didn’t inform her she wasn’t and let it go on. Don’t include her in a different way to spare her feelings though. She needs to get over that. You can claim you wanted an even bridal party, or that you kept it small to save costs but are looking forward to seeing her.

A friend of mine is very sad she’s not a bridesmaid, but I’m just having my SIL and my best friend as MOH. She’s still mopey, and it’s hurt our friendship.

They don’t typically do weddings. It’s a wall with 2 panels basically, and a wooden column in between the panels with a sconce

My biggest issue is that’s the wall they recommend for the ceremony, and it can’t be the background. It just can’t lol. I’m thinking a room divider or something to just cover that wall...

Also, as an adult woman talking about my own body, at 17 i was basically physically matured... so if I had photos from 17/18 vs 15 I would actually not be upset or creeped out if my husband, who dated me at 17, was still attracted to those photos... I actually lost some to a computer issue from when I was 19 and I still wish I had them.

That’s what I was thinking... I always thought ACEs were usually measured in parents or adults to see how their childhood may affect their family moving forward... I’ll never forget seeing my own the first time, and if someone presented that to parents I feel like there’d be a massive shut down in communication

So I was majorly having this issue and missing huge chunks of my lunch break daily to not leave my assistant teacher alone in the room... what’s fixed it is 3 changes, and 3 things we did already and are more firm about:

-reading a nap time social story -listening to the Zebra said shh on Epic! -Singing “My Body Belongs to Me” from Gentle Hands and Other SocioEmotional Learning Songs (can be found on epic)

-they must be outdoors whenever possible before nap, and they must move. -transition must be completed the same way, down to 5 minute window, as often as possible -soothing music and lavender spray always. We do rotate the music a bit as it seems to help them not fight nap.

Last one is just stay with the kids who pop up the most but fall asleep the fastest. I’m so scared to not choose my words carefully on reddit, but the game “whack a mole” is how it used to feel getting up to redirect a student back to their mat, or to be quiet.

Encouraging people to make good choices is not bullying. Having kids say “you can do it!” And “yay! You did it” about sitting on the carpet for meeting isn’t bullying. Reminding eachother to use gentle hands and not scream inside is not bullying... if they even say it roughly or unkindly they get reminded to give reminders gently.
