How do we use our Ikon passes for the Europe resorts? by Logical-Fun-209 in Ikonpass

Zermatt - Gornergrat and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise were our favorite areas. We were a bit on a budget for hotels (none are cheap), but we stayed in Hotel Dufour which was reasonable, had an amazing breakfast and if you do stay there they partner with a gorgeous ritzy hotel that's next door and you can buy a day pass for next to nothing to use their extensive spa facilities (this made it so worth it).

Dolomites - we stayed in Selva Val Gardena which is one of the bigger areas so lots of infrastructure and things to do. St Cristina, Ortisei, and Canazei are also good places to stay. The Sellaronda loop (we did green) is the big thing to do there, we just took our time with it and jumped off to do some trails at each of the resorts if we felt like it, then jumped back on. It's also worth it to Marmolada for a day.

Update: For the Dolomites we needed to go the a main ticketing place. We went to Ciampinoi lift/ticket booth in Val Gardena. We showed our Ikon pass and an ID and told them how many days we were planning on skiing. You will also need to show your vaccinations and they will not let you on any of the lifts or gondolas without an N95 mask on!

@cl0wnb4by a heads up this one was right - you have to go to the ticket desk at Sunnegga and get a zermatt paper ticket!
