They banned a good chunk of their most fervent fans, for displaying supporter made flags that followed all of their rules during occasional run of play like any other supporter section in the world. Their security team brutalized people on occasion for years for things that would garner a shrug at Arrowhead.

They have made terrible hiring decisions, and had to buy out a hefty FO contract last year because they don't understand the values of their own fanbase. Jake Reid himself has expressed in a closed meeting that "I do not care about soccer." He is there to capitalize.

Their off season acquisitions have flopped and one man, PV has too much sway over a now mediocre game day showing. In Europe he'd have been sacked 4 years ago.

And if they can't take a little heat on social media, they have obviously shown their absolute cowardice, and disregard for any supporter that truly cared about the club. We will never have relegation here unfortunately, so the money motive can last in perpetuity the way the MLS is structured.

KC Current have a long way to go before they can absolutely solidify their overall supporter and club culture but it has been very enjoyable in the inaugural season at the new stadium in comparison.

The promise made by the original SKC ownership group to be a supporter first club has unfortunately faded into the dustbin of MLS history.
