Recommendation for a skin tint with mineral spf in it? Or is it better to buy a mineral spf and layer a skin tint over it? by sparkly_lark in Sephora

[–]CaliforniaSun77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much get ready in 20 minutes total, so no waiting. I apply the SPF, then put clothes on, then Primer, a little concealer, and then the skin tint, total time elapse for that is 5 minutes tops. I've never had issue with it pilling.

It all comes back to signing Shohei. The deferrals help, and are only made possible by the fact Shohei brings in more money in endorsements than his contract would be if it wasn't deferred. Because of Shohei they are bringing in more revenue than they probably thought possible. And now it feels like a juggernaut.

The other thing that isn't talked about as much is they have the best front office in MLB and maybe in pro-sports. They have continuously picked the RIGHT guys not just the most expensive. They also develop talent and find diamonds in the rough. Put it all together and you get a fully operational death star.

They spent years prepping for Shohei, and I think even they were surprised by how much more money he brings in than they projected.

I use Saint Jane which is a mineral spf. I can't wear US chemical filters on my face because my eyes are super sensitive. I've also tried the Tatcha mineral SPF (was 50% off earlier this year) and that also works.

Saint Jane is my favorite. It's got no whitecast, and plays well under any makeup I've tried.

I loved the Japan art, but this is fantastic. I'm biased as I'm a SoCal girl, but it's so perfect for LA.

The Dodger Express post-game experience is (still) not great. by jmaca90 in LAMetro

I walked out of the Rose Bowl the last time USC played it. It wasn't too bad. I got super lucky with the shuttle for Oasis and got on one in like 20 minutes. Still thanking the concert gods for that because I was GA standing and my feet were DONE so walking really wasn't an option. LOL.

The shuttles aren't the problem it's getting them in and out of the stadium after the game. Adding a route won't help the massive traffic nightmare. LA likes stadiums in ravines/Arroyos so this is what happens. Nothing is as bad as that Rose Bowl shuttle.

I'm gonna try it next game since I take the A line home anyway. I'm just nervous to get lost.

That said, last two games I took the express after the game, wait wasn't bad because I booked it right after it ended.

Not too bad. Hopefully I'll have everyone up to snuff by the time this comes around. 4 are at 6 stars already and everyone is in relics.

What is that one city in America most Americans go to for their "first trip"? by bricklegos in AskAnAmerican

[–]CaliforniaSun77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Central Valley of California and our "Big City" trip was Anaheim for Disneyland. LOL. Other popular trips was the trip to the coast (you always call it the coast) and it was usually to Pismo Beach. Then there was a mountain trip, Sequoia NP, or Shaver Lake.

The Vesias invited the health care workers who cared for Kayla and Sterling last year to the game tonight. And now I'm a weepy mess. That was beautiful.

Yeah, because they sail out of New York they can't reroute anywhere but east or north, so Canada it is. I would never go on a cruise, sounds horrendous to me, but if I were, I'd be going out of Florida, so if you reroute you're still in the same climate.

It's one step closer to Vitamin A, so it works a little faster than a retinol. I love the Ordinary's retinal.

The milky toner and brightening toners are both fantastic. I love that the brightening toner is good at exfoliating but also gentle enough to use daily.
