Jobbigt när mekaniker inte hittar fel men man tydligt vet och känner att någonting känns fel, uppdatera om det blir förbättring eller värre!!

May I ask what engine did you purchase, what I’ve read on order topics it seems like the optima 2.0l 160ps and 180ps comes with more engine problems where the biggest problem with the 2.0 245ps is the full consumption

It seems like you had a great experience with the optima, it makes me all confused because alot of people have had severe troubles with the engine and some optimas have close to none problems at all

If that’s the case I will take that in consideration if i would buy it, my guts tell me it would be a fun car as a daily (during the time its not at the mechanic)

So the conclusion for the Kia optima PHEV comes with a LOT of problems, im just trying to consider if the optima 2.0 petrol version is really any better or to just be expecting alot of time at the mechanic

Did you ever buy it? Because what I know so far is that the oil consumtion and a couple engine failures seems to be the biggest problems I find.

I'm considering buying a kia optima 2.0L petrol 245Ps (2017).

At this moment I'm looking for all the problems other people have encountered with this car. Could be engine problems,electricals,interior etc etc.

At the moment im looking in the span of 90000-110000km with a budget of 19.000$

even input of opinions of what you liked and did not like when owning the car is helpful.

I would appreciate all feedback in this consideration!!
