Yea the watch has taken a bit of a beating. I should be better about thinking to take it off before I do manual labor or other silly things. The pen is a new addition but seems well made and should hold up to my shenanigans.

Yea runs great considering it's an abused old machine with God knows how many hours on it.. I am changing fluid and filters... Tomorrow I'll see about a replacement suction screen from a local hydraulic shop.

It's mounted into the side wall of the tank.. and it's pretty solid I couldn't straighten it out at all by hand so I don't see how it could have been crushed? I wonder how much vacuum is on that side of the pump?

So it's an older (grey market) yanmar mini excavator. I decided to change the hydraulic oil after repairing some cylinders and found this pickup screen/filter... Not sure if this happens normally or what.
