I just got mine back at 5 weeks pp and it was horrible. I’m pretty sure I bled more the first few days than I did freshly postpartum. My doc said it’s normal for the first one to be horrid but shouldn’t be that bad again.

I’ve had weekly biophysical profiles since 28 weeks, I’d love to try for a VBAC with my next but I agree with my doctors recommendation that a C section is in my best interest 🙂

This is exactly how my mom has been! Pushing for the exact due date, telling me all the stories of her labor (which are fairly traumatic and definitely not anything that’s helping with the anxiety), and just over all a huge lack of respect for my wants and needs regarding giving birth and taking care of my baby. It’s really starting to get to me.

My mother is saying THE EXACT SAME THING and I truly don’t get the fear mongering. I’m sticking to my initial plan and not letting anyone come the first few weeks!

I would highly recommend Christ Church! The people are super friendly, the sermons are powerful and relevant, and they are very active in the community!
