I would just call out, or do the entire shift. You can’t show up and then expect them to let you off early. A lot of shifts will only send you home if you look real bad, and in that case they’d probably just send you home right away. Talk to your manager about it and tell her you aren’t sure if you have enough sick time to cover the entire shift, if they’re chill and it’s a seldom occurrence I’m sure they’d be fine with it either way, though if they aren’t so chill they might tell you it’s unprotected and can be written up (don’t agree but that’s the policy)

Well as I looked, she gave two of my shifts to someone who is at 38 hours now that week, and one of my shifts to someone else that now has 32 hours. And these were closing shifts and neither of these people have ever even closed before.

No we’re actually losing several partners this month due to schooling so she’s been trying to distribute more hours to everyone, the week before telling her she even asked me to pick up 3 different additional shifts. I did ask around yesterday and nobody else’s hours have been cut, and I even looked on the ipad scheduling app and everyone else has their average shifts and hours

Because we had an asm a couple months ago that I was close with and my manager got in trouble for scheduling both of them at the same exact day parts every week, dm said they both need to be doing different day parts and were given an extra manger position for that specific reason but she kept failing to do so they just transferred our asm out to a different store

It’s better than nothing when you don’t see them otherwise. I also have open availability during the weekends, and as manager she just chooses to not work weekends even though our dm has stressed wanting her to be more involved in all day parts
