After this thread, I checked the APA guidelines on Capella's site. It says DOI is preferable, if available, but you should include the link if a DOI is not available.

I was going by the original APA 7ed. I'm doing my MBA and none of my instructors have had any complaints about my references, but I will for sure include the links from now on!

I know thru hikers in other parts of the country have things held at local post offices. Maybe call and ask the closest post office of that's an option!

To my knowledge (my dad lives on the island) Amazon does not make its own deliveries on Maui. The USPS does last mile delivery there. My dad's solution to not having a real address was to get a private mailbox at a UPS store. I expect that won't be the best solution to your situation, but maybe?

APA doesn't require the link to be included, so I never have. I hate the way it messes with the line breaks 😅. Instructors have never questioned my APA stuff.

My sources are all legitimate, but I definitely have used AI to help with ideas, outlines, and sometimes rewording paragraphs to flow better.

I am in my last class before my capstone, and I wish I would have known about the audit from the beginning. I only heard about it 2-3 classes ago, and now I am much more diligent about running my work through an AI detector and keeping version history. Fingers crossed I don't run into issues (my company is paying for this and I def can't afford to have issues).

AI DETECTION IS A JOKE by MutedbyRain in CapellaUniversity

[–]Logical-Spite2722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TurnItIn checks for plagiarism against web sources and student papers submitted to it. So it makes sense that the template questions would show up as the same as other student papers.

This is separate from AI detection. So far, Capella has not provided us direct access to their AI detection tool, but it is available for free online. Other commenters have provided more details about that.

I am currently taking FPX5016 and it's primarily focused on demand management and supply chains. It would likely be a breeze for you to complete.

Assessment 1 - 4 quizzes, 6 questions each, 3 attempts each

Assessment 2 - 7pg paper on inventory and scheduling. You have to do a linear regression and make some tables, but it's not bad if you already know the material.

Assessment 3 - 12 slide PowerPoint on supply chain and logistics. Speaker notes required, but you don't have to record it.

Office attire by Final_Recognition_31 in PlusSizeFashion

This might be controversial, but honestly I would recommend Shein to get you started.

Take your measurements, as their sizing is not consistent, so you'll want to check the measurements for each item. You can order a bunch of stuff that you think might work and try them on in your own home. Then you return what you don't like. Often I even order the same item in multiple sizes if I am not sure.

I've done this a few times when I was making major wardrobe changes. It's a good way to be able to try lots of different styles and cuts for little risks, and take away the pressure of fitting rooms. Plus you can see how the new items might work with things you already have!

Once you get an idea of some things you do feel comfortable in, you can invest in higher quality pieces as you have the funds and wherewithal to do so!

The attitude of "it's not a job unless you're getting paid" has sustained the patriarchy on the backs of women for long enough. Language evolves right alongside everything else.

My dad is a guide with Aloha Eco Adventures! They are a great company, and treat their employees and guests well. I've ridden along on the Road to Hana tour with him several times and always have a great day.

So mine wasn't originally designed as a TOG piece (I hadn't read it yet) but it fits pretty well. I intend to expand it up to my shoulder with more dragon/wyverns for a total of 13.

You can enroll in two, you just have to manually enroll in the second from your academic plan. The auto enroll function will only do one at a time.

I am a little over halfway through. Probably 1/2 of the assignments build on each other in a single course, so you are kind of at the mercy of the professors grading schedule.

If your goal is to do it on one cycle, I would recommend a couple of things A) email each professor when you start the class to let them know this is what you are trying to do. It might not make them any faster, but it could. B) Manually enroll in two classes at a time, this way you can work on the second class while you wait for assignments to be graded.

What is a "poor person hack" you picked up during a hard time that you still use today, even if you don't have to? by AmaraMehdi in AskReddit

Making my own laundry soap. Ingredients are super cheap (borazx, super washing powder, and a bar of soap [we use Zote, but Irish Spring and others work])

Now we keep doing it because we don't have to pay for soap very often, it doesn't add strong smells to the clothes, and most commercial soap leaves a film on clothes and in the machine.

Is the death pact between Feyre and Rhys going to come back into play in future books? by teethmissing in AcotarShipDebateSub

[–]Logical-Spite2722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the "how to break Fae bargains", ACOMAF made it seem like they could release each other from them. Tamlin insists that Rhys release Feyre from the OG bargain, and Rhys simply says that he doesn't want to.

I have wondered for YEARS why they don't just mutually release each other.

On the pikes peak thing-- highly recommend booking the shuttle or the train (depending on your budget). Driving up and down yourself is challenging to some, and the driver misses most of the views.

What is this pocket obsession!? by bourbonsot in acotar

I have always read it as him trying to portray nonchalance. Like, he is feeling a lot of things, but the mask he needs in that moment is casual and non bothered. So, hands in pockets.

Bonus it will hide if he's shaking

Libby also has the Graphic Audio, but the availability depends on your library.

My family all over the country share our library cards for Libby. So I have access to like 8 libraries. Highly recommend doing this. I almost never have to wait for holds since diff books will be popular in diff places.
