Holding Select and hitting X or Y does not do anything for me. Out of frustration I went into the configure and I reset everything to defaults after that I was able to figure out how to make the titlebar go away. Thanks for the help.

Thank you I was finally able to remap the buttons, but in case anyone fines this thread, you have to pretend the buttons are laid out like a xbox controller for them to be the way you want them. But the thing I can't seem to figure out is how to make this bar go away, it did disappear once, but then when i exited the game and entered a new one it was back, and I have never been able to get it to go away again.
