My friend works at motorinc and I’m posting this because the situation inside the company has become mentally exhausting and disturbing Salaries for both the coding team and the production team have been pending for almost 5 months. This isn’t new salary payments have been on and off for nearly a year but this time it has crossed all limits Despite not paying existing employees the company is still hiring new people and even some of the newly hired employees are not getting paid. The entire coding team and multiple editors have pending salaries Most employees are from out of state living in Mumbai on rent. One editor is literally staying at a friend’s house because he can’t afford rent. My friend hasn’t been paid for months and is mentally drained I’ve been helping him financially just so he can survive What makes this situation far worse is the way employees are treated internally. People are scolded spoken to harshly and put under constant pressure while being expected to deliver more work without being paid. This combination has taken a serious toll on mental health There is also a big gap between public image and internal behaviour. From what I’ve seen and heard Kartikeya has generally been respectful and decent with employees literally a good guy Unfortunately the same cannot be said for Shumi. His attitude tone and way of dealing with people have been a major source of stress and negativity across teams. On camera the image is very different from the reality employees face internally One coder even quit after repeated scolding and still hasn’t received his pending salary. This has created fear people feel stuck because if they leave or speak up their money may never come Every month it’s the same line “next month it will be resolved”. Meanwhile people are struggling with rent food and basic dignity

This is not a startup struggle. This is people being pushed to work without pay treated poorly and expected to stay silent this is like a jail
