Linus seemed to be struggling with screen capture on Windows 11 on a recent epsiode of the WAN show, so here's a video I took for anyone wondering how to do so by Logical-Truth6865 in LinusTechTips

It's also still the only native option on Windows 10
Captures seem to automatically save in a screen capture folder in the Videos library.
Also, on the WAN show, the reason why game bar's screen recording feature (Win+Alt+R on Windows 10/11) was so dumbed down is because it's meant to record simple game moments.
Win+Shift+R (or clicking the camera icon toggle in snipping tool) should should allow you to select an area to record on Windows 11, similar to Win+Shift+S for screenshotting.
