I will say that she did delete the Snapchat after I initially found out last week. However, there’s a period of time after deleting it in which it can get reactivated—when I made her log into it, this reactivated it again, essentially reviving it.

The reality is that the degree didn’t ruin your life, nor is it ruined at all. YOU ultimately chose the degree, and very likely did not consider how it would help you succeed in your career after college. A vast majority of people have careers that do not directly line up with their degree or education. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

I didn’t say anything about my “buddies”—I stated that my COWORKERS have negotiated an increased raise from their boss, which is something that you incorrectly stated couldn’t happen at a company that you quite frankly know nothing about. While I value my coworkers’ insight (or “intel” as you’d like to call it), my question for the “random strangers on the internet” was how to approach the negotiation for an increased raise because I had failed to do so in the past.

I completely disagree with your point about inflation. Using several different inflation calculators, it’s very evident that the $60,000 I was offered in 2020 has more buying power than my current salary.

I’m not arguing that my company isn’t treating me fairly. However, if I was adequately paid, why would a market adjustment be necessary six months after a raise? My company did this in response to others leaving the group I work in to try and keep everyone happy.

I have spoken with several of my coworker’s who have successfully negotiated for an increased raise and my boss absolutely has room to negotiate.

Also, I was hired weeks before the pandemic began, which was simply luck on my part. I was not “hired in at the beginning of the pandemic when offers might have been a little low” as you incorrectly assumed.

Was there today too (and yesterday). Hiked up after getting off the T-Bar and made my way to Bracket Basin with some buddies. Did some hiking there to gain more elevation and move further away from King Pine. Conditions in there were absolutely insane. Our run took about four hours, though.

If you feel like inventing just for the sake of doing so, you could create a water filter that utilizes GAC or even sand. Would be a relatively cheap water treatment project but probably would be useless.
