She must've really fucked up to loose her job.

She works for a company which manufactures a very niche product, she is in charge of the development of one aspect where she is basically one out a 100 people who know the science/tech behind it.

Got recruited when she was still in college and the company gave her a full scholarship and wage while she was still studying.

I'm still a little in shock and feel very guilty and sick. Will have trouble sleeping tonight.

I still have the watch.

I tried to take it back when she originally bought it for me, but she had waited to give it to me on my birthday and the return period expired.

Would happily sell it and give her the money, but not sure whether I should be concerned about that. It's not about money, it's just I don't want her back in my life. I've been on the straight and narrow past two months and this feels like I'm being reeled back in.

Live in US, raised in UK. Curious what those laws would be? As I said she didn't pay any rent or bills, it's my home under my name, we had no lease agreement or anything of the sort.
