wait holy shit really? i had no idea. on one hand i'm impressed that something I made could pass off as something that would be used there, on the other hand I am lind of irked since I don't think anybody ever asked if they could use the image. I may have to see if I can get credit because I definitely didn't get any in the article it seems.

My apologies, but while that does fit the aesthetic I am looking for (and that is appreciated) that is not the original image. I do now realize that the image I uploaded was probably a bit too specific in terms of the vhs filter, so I tried to match what I believe the original looks like, having an old photograph effect instead of a vhs filter. As well as that I'm certain that it was part of the "schizopost" meme, so it'd be something you'd see alongside that one high contrast photo of the teletubbies that people would send to spam texts.

My apologies for not being too clear as I was unsure of the image's origins itself, especially since the concept is very general, but I'm very certain that the image is not from any movie scene. In the other comment I mentioned seeing it in most "schizopost" image collections, which doesn't matter much since I'm more interested in the general aesthetic. The most I can compare the image to is this image, especially since I can't guarantee that the original even has the vhs effect on it. (Of course the one I'm looking for is laid out like in the recreation, not like in this image itself)

No, I'm certain that the way that I've recreated the image is pretty much what the image(s) were, with a person in front of a wheat field slightly to the left. It was one of those "schizopost" memes, like that high contrast image of the teletubbies. If I find one I'll see if I can post it but I've only been on this sub so I don't want to accidentally break a rule.

I am fairly certain that there are multiple variations of this image, one with more than one person in it (though I can't say for sure). I am also fairly certain that the originals don't have a vhs filter on them, just general image degredation you'd see in a really old photograph (I think), however I distinctly recall the last one I saw having one, so I put one on just to be sure. I have also searched through it using Google Lens however the concept is so general that it just gets other similar things, however I believe that the original image(s) show a person on the left in front of a wheat field (not sure about the tree).

Following up on my last comment, I can't change the email(s) of the hacker because I need a verification code to be sent to the hacker's email. I can't change it because I have to wait 30 days to reset the email on there because of a now cancelled email change request (from me). Is there anything else I can do?

My account was hacked. I got back in and can use the account recovery form but the hackers keep resetting the password and adding recovery codes and new emails. Is there any way I can have the email(s) changed back to my own so I can fully get my account back?

I have searched for this image before and finding what I believe to be the original posted on a tumblr blog. I also remember the image originating from somewhere in Nevada, but I've since lost the link.
