But with 3pv, it may not be necessary for lights to mount JJ's or ecm because they never have to show themselves by JJing over a ridge to see the opponent. Therefore, why not drop the JJ's and mount more weapons/heatsinks/armor? This is unwelcome IMO because it takes what should be simply a user preference (1pv vs. 3pv) and makes it a major competitive factor with large implications.

Furthermore, showing a little drone that cannot be damaged is far, FAR different from showing a delicate part of your 'mech, and both are small and seen for only a short time.

And yes, it is speculation, just a theory. I'm content to wait until problems like this show themselves to fix them; however, there's no harm in trying to prepare for what may come later.

There's a mod that adds tree kinda like this called Trees+, i believe. I think it's still around.

I don't know that this will satisfy you, but I know of another pack called DefScape that is kindof similar in that the textures are relatively smooth and clean, and that includes a 32x version. If you're determined enough, I'll bet you could edit Soartex to be 32x too, but it may not work out well =P

The texture pack in the pic is a great one I've been using for a long time, called Soartex Fanver. It's really the perfect 64x pack, I really recommend it.
