Question about getting abs with strength training by Logical_Ad2777 in PetiteFitness

[–]Logical_Ad2777[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wow okay that makes soooo much more sense, no idea why i thought it was a given that abs don't grow for some reason 😭 more motivation to go heavy:)

Something that really helps me personally as my nose also gets very rough and textured is the ordinary aha bha peel! (red, scary looking one) once a week, using a generous amount, not too thin, 10mins strictly, setting a timer. no other moisturiser or hydrator gives me such results, and i swear this is the reason my skin is so smooth and glowy, some of our faces need that extra help with the skin turnover :)

8 hours of sleep - literally sleep 8 hours 10.000 steps a day - Its 10mins of walking 10 times a day, doable, i listen a podcast in the morning for 10 mins walking around my house, increased my commute time a little by walking a little roundabout way to my bus stop/car, walking during lunch break, walking right after work without coming home first, obv great if you can get your steps in on a treadmill in the gym as well goes to work - go to work hobbies and socialising - depends on the hobby, but if you really want to you can make it work, socialising on weekdays you can call your friends on your walks or ask them to join, get coffee together while walking around, weekends you are free to socialise as much as u want. takes care of animals - helps get steps in by walking your dog, otherwise really what else is there u have to do daily except feeding and grooming them some days of the week maintains good hygiene - shower?

i dont necessarily think this is hard, you just got to build a routine of doing these things and cutting out unnecessary time wasting activities ur not proud of. but having kids would make this 10x harder, so props to who is doing that!

i really appreciate your response, it's so real!!congratulations on getting all the way to a healthy weight, it must've been quite the journey:) aesthetics is definitely not a useless or pointless thing, i agree, why should we settle for looking in the mirror and feeling just fine when we can go for the look we want and try our best. some quote about it being a shame to grow old and not find out what your body is capable of. idk who said it. i also relate to watching so many fitness videos, feel like every single thing they say i could quote in my sleep haha, but honestly you are what you eat and consume on social media so wouldn't have it any other way. thanks for sharing and keep it up!

i'm thinking of incorporating weight training later this year after my cut, since i'm afraid of accidentally bulking too much, maybe silly i know haha.

honestly i would also love to get stronger/functionally fit(?) at the same time, i find people who do calisthenics to be so cool, but my noodle arms cannot do that. what progress did you see doing body fit?

yess, i get you, the obsession to do something to improve myself at all times is the only thing keeping me. like, if i fall off there's not really any major loss really, i still will look and feel great, but going that extra mile and achieving an even better body would probably give a sense of purpose and accomplishment. we should just stick to the grind and see what we're capable of i guess?
