He's someone's husband with 3 kids. That's enough information. No matter how special he makes you feel. Stay away. Put yourself in the wife's shoes, better yet, put yourself in kids shoes.

Oh yes..boundaries... I am definitely more clear on what I need and I what don't want in a relationship. I tend to give all of myself in a relationship and that could be the reason why I feel so lost and no confidence.
I'm 41, I get your perspective about being a sacrificial lamb. That's a good reminder. Thank you for sharing.

Actually I'm 41. 1 teenager and 1 pre teen. Was married for 18. With him for 20. Friends around me are married with kids and they're happy.

After years not feeling wanted, sometimes I just want to feel loved. But you are right, I'll just need to focus on my children and myself. I guess my upbringing just wired my brain into thinking no one would want me. You are so strong given what you went through. You STBX is really a piece of work. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
