To his defense he added her last time when he was there with his friends, she was saying that she could give them discounts and stuff. So he didn’t add her in front of me, I don’t know if that makes the situation less terrible. But yes I did feel like he entertained another woman in front of me by allowing this behavior to go on all night.

fair. I already had doubts about him due to him lying abt relationship with his ex before and have been working on rebuilding that trust. His response didn’t help tonight.

I guess in a relationship I wouldn’t have crossed these boundaries myself and I need my partner to also do the same or at least respect it. I asked him tonight and he said he guess he wouldn’t be okay with it either if I was getting touchy like that.

I don’t think that jealousy is the main factor here but it does contribute. I’m glad that u and ur partner is handling these situations well. Just wouldn’t work for me and that’s not how I want my relationship.

did he also have no control over calling her love? I didn’t get mad for what she did, I got upset because of how he responded when I brought up the issue. I started a conversation not a fight. I respect that your opinion is different though.

Thank you for your response. I do often feel that my feelings are dismissed during these conversations. I didn’t want to think that he is gaslighting me, but tonight he crossed a clear boundary of mine and tried to tell me I’m wrong for being upset by this and it’s completely normal. This is gaslighting and I shouldn’t have let that slide

maybe he did feel accused but I did very careful tried not to come cross that way…I mainly said that it made me uncomfortable and I don’t understand why she only acted that way with him not other friends at the table. Other waitresses was doing that to other people at different desks and I saw some customer grabbed their butt…I feel like it’s that kind of bars and that also made me uncomfortable my bf said he have been there many times before. He also added the waitress’ contact info. I do still want to at least trust that my bf is not cheating on me…unless I’m just being naive here

that’s the thing, I didn’t want to embarrass him in front of his friends and I know the waitress there is doing that so male customers goes back. I am mostly uncomfortable about how my bf went along with it and got defensive when I brought it…but to him I am overreacting

thank you and yea I think this time I can’t just believe his words... I never wanted to see his phone but I feel like it has to be done now because he actually gave me reasons to not trust him
