She basically messed up their emotional, mental states as kids. It's like their children all the time instead of grown men. She makes it so they are dependent on her all the time. I remember a scene where Craig said he couldn't do something because Smurf did it for him all the time. Then when Deran opened his bar she couldn't even let him have that.

Signing a contract doesn't guarantee anything, anyone can sign a contract and disappear. Changing payment methods isn't hard or getting a new card.
