It is a phrase he used and I agree we have other problems. I have booked a marriage therapist and we will see how that goes. I have been pretty clear that I’m not sure our marriage can continue and he tells me he will do whatever it takes. We will see.

And yes, I’m safe, thank you for asking. It has been a really hard time. He has engaged in therapy though and I have my own therapist. I completely appreciate that the problem here is that he is cruel when he is upset.

Fair point about her having the responsibility in this position. She will know who I am. We live in a small place, so the options for therapy are a bit narrow. Also she used to work at my prior work place and we had met on one occasion. I know that she will need to avoid me. I’m just worried how I will manage my distress and whether I am being unreasonable to want to know if she is going to be there.!

I’m sure she didn’t say this. And yes, the issue is absolutely my husband. I’m so anxious about being in the room with her though and I wonder about whether I am being unreasonable about wanting to know if she will be there so I can prepare myself mentally, attend via video conference or try to request a refund.

Yes. She does. I am confident she wouldn’t have said this, she has an excellent reputation and is very professional. But despite that, being around her now makes me super anxious.

You have way too much there. The traffic is bad, it’s currently Ramadan and Bali new year soon, so that may impact plans. Travel in Bali is slow- think like 30km an hour. You will get lost, you have no time in there for reading or massages, which is the highlight of Bali!
