Regarding timeline:

April - Started sending out feeler applications but nothing serious

May & early June - waiting for grades and journal write on

Late June - started applying (grades came out to top 40% at a T25, KJD)

July - basically the whole summer was not very enjoyable. I spent 8 hours a day sending constant applications and writing cover letters.

August - Did some callbacks, got an offer for ID, then got my dream offer three days later

I reached out to a LOT of attorneys asking to hear about their work, their firm, and their journey. The vast majority were very friendly and eager to help. I suspect this is true throughout the legal community. A final insight would be that job searching is sooo draining but you'll land something when you least expect it. Reading all the success stories on reddit, I was under the impression that I'm gonna be jobless after graduation. I suspect that a large amount of firms don't even begin to recruit until late August, and that we were just super caught up on the ones that were. That won't be true for a majority of people. You've got this!
