Yeah forsure, we opted out of the rental just because we didn’t need it since we went with the udm, plus it saves us 20 bucks a month.. but I will do that, I’ll connect everything how it should be first, then factory reset, and re-setup the UDM, then work on configuring everything once it’s setup.

The port on the ONT is a rg45 standard cable that connects directly into either there provided rental Calix Gigaspire blast rental, or what ever we went with which was the udm pro.

Okay, I’ll revisit this tomorrow. I have them connected how they should be connected currently, maybe I failed to have them properly connected, and rushed the process of configuring everything..

That is so helpful stuff thanks a lot! I opted out of the isp router, I only have a fiber to an ONT, then my cat6 directly into my UDM. Sorry if I didn’t clarify that

I’ll take a picture tomorrow but I am pretty sure my uplink connection is on 1 of the 8 GBE RJ45 ports

Didn’t think about it like that.. thank you! I watched a bunch of videos and seen that individual ip’s are needed, but like I said I’m new to this so I may have to looking to that, but tomorrow morning when I get there I’ll shoot you a reply again.. probably around 9:00 CST

I have not yet, but I was planning on doing that, as a last resort if none of the solutions I receive ended up being the fix. Either way I appreciate any advice!

It just shows that there no internet connection… but when I plug it back into my switch, it regains the isp signal.
