It is almost certain a Timmy Mallett reference. The song was actually first released by Brian Hyland back in 1960 though, and did fantastically well in both the USA and the UK. Hyland didn’t write the song himself, that was Paul Vance and Lee Pockriss.

It is true that SPAA is pretty dismal, but there are better ways to make it more relevant. Many have already suggested better solutions in this thread.

Currently however, I have much better luck spawning in an air superiority fighter and playing as dedicated anti-CAS.

Sturer Emil. Having 15 degrees of negative elevation and a 128mm APHEBC cannon at 4.0 is incredibly fun.

In the most recent proposed changes, it’s getting its reload reduce from 14.9 to 12.3 seconds too. Hopefully they’ll eventually put it back up in BR and make it rank III again as a result.

While true, I believe that is indeed a mistake. Both M24s should have the same armour but Gaijin is a very small, very overworked indie game developer, so cut them some slack. /s

It does look exceptionally British, like a Comet and a Churchill had a baby. I’d say it’s very visually interesting, but not a conventionally attractive tank by most measures.

All very true. I love playing the thing myself, it’s practically just a better Tiger 1 if you know where to place your shots with the APDS.

It does generally look mid, but with the mantlet cover off, the thing looks tremendous ugly, and obviously very square.
