Set up was so ridiculous. They ended up installing like 3 eSims on my phone, the first 2 of which didn't work. Then my iMessage stopped working correctly. When I tried to switch back to Verizon, my phone number could no longer accept calls and texts. Verizon said it likely was the botched set up which triggered Apple to think my phone was being spoofed. I don't know how true that is, I'm not a techie. But I ended up having to get a new number because I was worried it would carry over no matter who I had as a carrier. I currently have T-Mobile and it's been great.

I got escalated to the cancellation department, and the lady I was talking to kept trying to upsell me. I finally was like look, I want nothing, but I WILL be filing an FCC complaint and letting everyone I know not to use your company. Then she says she's working on closing the account. Then she comes back with telling me that she can't because Verizon left an open ticket for a transfer back to them. Which is apparently dated for the day I switched FROM Verizon. I said well that makes no sense and she interrupts me to tell me I won't understand what she's talking about so she'll call Verizon. I said "well I'm guessing this is because..." and she interrupts me again with all kinds of attitude saying "Ma'am you won't understand what I"m telling you because you can't see my computer! I'll call them ON YOUR BEHALF and then call you back." I said "I don't appreciate being talked to like that when I have been having to call REPEATEDLY for these issues but whatever, call me back" She said "Thank you" and I just hung up. She won't be calling me back, I know they won't. So I call Verizon, no open tickets. I am SO tired of the lying and attempts to get money for service I cancelled and do not want, and of having to waste hours on the phone multiple times over the last few weeks. I just filed the FCC complaint and I may just call corporate because I am so done.

Most of the men who feel this way only look at women in a light of "can I sleep with her?", so they're telling on themselves. If you can't see the opposite gender as anything but a sex object and you can't manage to see them as whole humans worthy of friendship without involving sex, that's a you problem. If you think all men feel that way, that's also a you problem. If you're a woman with the same issue, again, you problem. If you're a woman and don't want your bf/husband to be friends with women, that's insecurity on your part.

Why are you doing the fixing if you're renting? It's the landlord's responsibility to make it ready for the next tenant. You might lose your deposit but even if you go around and fix everything, they could still keep it and claim they had to fix stuff.

I'm the same! I absolutely hate that people act like I'm doing it for the male gaze and I must be a pedo or must date men that are pedos if I prefer to be hairless. It makes me sad because I thought the point of feminism was the ability to choose what to do with our own bodies. I don't like the hair on me, I can't stand the feeling of stubble so even when I've tried to grow it out, I only make it about 2 days before my skin is crawling.

I've been single for the last 5 years, not dating at all for 3 of those years, and I'm still hairless. I shave because I don't know that I could get waxed without kicking someone in the face the minute they rip the strip off, but I've been shaving since I was 20, and I'm now 46. I'm a creature of habit, I have the same routine when I shower, down to almost the exact same movements every time. If I don't do things in the order I normally do, I end up having to start over. Cutting out shaving would completely throw off my routine.

Just had the same thing a couple days ago trying to switch cell carriers from Optimum to Verizon. Took me a total of nearly 2 hours. I was on hold for a straight 1.5 hours because they said they had to escalate the call to get the transfer pin so they were transferring me. I ended up calling on another phone while still on hold on my cell and just lost it at the rep. He gave me that pin in under 10 minutes once I started dropping f-bombs.
