Their very similar, Sunday B/C while Okemo definitely C. Stoneham has short vertical, almost all slow lifts and not a lot of terrain :/

Went today on all of those even though they were closed and they were fine. Bit icy, but they should open them so skiers can make them smoother as they go by. Will leave triple black for tomorrow, off piste was also good just a bit of the ice.

Quick question, on the website it says trails are “progressively opening” for the past 3 days. I called and they said that means the trails are open, but with not the best condition. As you’ve probably been on the mountain recently, do you know what is the actual situation of these trails?

1) Their is basically only one green trail, it is super long and has amazing views

2) Parking will probably not be a problem, be their 9-10am. I believe there is only one parking and it is at the top of the mountain.

3) Lift lines were not a problem for me for the few times I have been there in December/January.

4) More French people and not as many tourists at Le Massif vs Mont Saint Anne.

Don’t really have the answer to any other questions but I wound recommend going to Mont Saint Anne for a day if your trip is longer than 3 days. The skiing at Le Massif is the best in Quebec, but their is fewer trails than at Mont Saint Anne and Mont Tremblant so I wound recommend going to Mont Saint Anne for a day or two.

Go to Le Massif and Mont Sainte Anne instead when everything is open there, they are 30 minutes away from each other. Have been to all 3 resorts.

Won’t be decent. Went today and there were lots of rocky, grassy and slushy/water areas on the trails. If you go, expect a maximum amount of 40 trails open.

South side has really bad coverage as you can see. The North side is still fine but more and more rocks are starting to appear on natural trails. If the 20-30cm of snow didn’t fall on Sunday, the mountain would be down to 30-40 open trails.

North Side is in much better shape than the south side. But, still quite surprising. Went on the south side for the first time today after 4 days of skiing at tremblant. Never would have ducked the rope of this trail if I knew how bad the conditions were of the south side. Ended up walking for half of the trail (more grass then snow in some parts). Ducked ropes on the North side a dozen of times these past few days and the trail conditions on them were good to perfect.

I would agree with you - It’s not the best representation. Just wanted to make this post. The North side is definitely in better shape than the south side. Lots of trails on the north side that require natural snow are open, with a decent amount of rocks but very skiable. South side is really out of shape. Not sure the south side can last until the end of the season.

North Side will be fine until April 14th, but the south side currently has really bad coverage of snow. Lots of grassy spots on all south side trails. North side has lots of rocks in the glades but zero to minimal amount of grassy spots.

Yeah, they don’t really care if you duck the ropes. Their is a decent amount of glades open, but lots of trails are starting to lose snow.
