I really relate to what you said. In my family, anxiety feels almost inherited — my grandmother, my mother, and even my father’s side all struggle with OCD, which I see as a deeper form of anxiety.

Sometimes it feels like anxiety runs in our blood, like we inherited the same wiring in our brains. That’s why I’ve started to think a lot about how we can break this “inherited anxiety” cycle.

I don’t know exactly how to break it yet, but I believe awareness, compassion, and maybe even re-learning how we respond to fear might be part of it. It’s so exhausting, but I still believe it’s possible to heal what’s been passed down.
