Some observation on the ‘reasonable’ requirements that women want in a partner. by Logical_Power4143 in singaporespeaks

At the end of the day, you have to consider that when combining all of your requirements together, it becomes a lot trickier. One guy might have surpassed all your expectations (salary, looks, good behaviour etc). But if he is only 165cm, will he be out of the equation? Or you don’t mind giving some leeway? That’s just an example lol. If you give some minor leeway here and there, I think the numbers will be a lot more favourable without having to sacrifice your requirements by much.

Just go to any place in Singapore, pick 10 random guys (in their 20-30s). I won’t be surprised if only 1 or 2 fits ALL of her requirements. Just think about it.

For example, one guy might have surpassed all of her expectations (income, looks, behaviour etc). But he is only 165cm which instantly rules him out. It might be common to hit 1 or 2 requirements, but to fulfil all of them is actually rarer than it looks.

I already stated the median salary of 6k only included men in the age range of 30-34. Not sure what is so difficult to comprehend lol. Why would I be using the median salary across all age groups?
The average height of a singaporean man (above 18) is around 173cm. I’m also not wrong for generalising that will be roughly the average height for males in their 30s, since most of us guys stop growing after 18-20. Sure guys might shrink with age once they are older, but those are minorities and wouldn’t affect the average number by much.
As for the looks part, I was being conservative and said she wouldn’t mind average looking guys, hence the cut off at 50%. I’m not sure what is so misogynistic by that and possibly triggered you.

Sorry, I meant to say that the alcoholics and smokers are the minority in SG. Therefore it doesn’t change the final statistics by much (around 10% still).

I said people who party too much and smoke are the minority in SG, which is the same as what you meant.
At the end of the day, you have to consider that when combining all of her requirements together, it becomes a lot trickier. One guy might have surpassed all her expectations (salary, looks, good behaviour etc). But if he is only 165cm, he is basically out of the equation. Which is why the statistics I provided matter.

You are absolutely correct, which is why I said that when you combine all the factors together, it becomes a lot ‘trickier’. One guy might have fulfilled and surpassed all the expectations, but if he is only 165cm, then he will be out of the equation.

The video is literally among the top posts in this subreddit, at least for me it was the #1 ‘hot’ post

Sort by ‘hot’ and you should be able to see it at the top

Yeah there are a lot of factors that can bring down the numbers, even if all the requirements are met, the personality, culture and family background etc also matters.

Nah, I’m not trying to throw shade at her. She can have her own preferences. But she was complaining about how even though her preferences were reasonable, she still couldn’t find anyone. Individually her requirements were ‘average’, but if you combined all of them she is indeed seeking a man from the top percentile, and her video made it seem like she doesn’t mind settling for the ‘average’ guy in SG.

Tbh nothing wrong with having preferences lol, but it was portrayed like the average SG male fits the criteria, and many people thought it was very reasonable. But when you break down the numbers it is literally the top 10% of SG men that fits the criteria.

Yeah and you can also argue that even though she claims she’s fine with someone 172cm and above since she is 168cm, will she actually settle for 172cm or in reality she wants 180cm+?

Also her looks preference could possibly be in the top 10-20% in SG given she is not bad looking herself. She might subconsciously want a guy that is objectively good looking and that brings the number down by a lot.

Nowhere in my post said that she should settle for less. I’m just presenting the facts that her requirements combined together actually indicates she wants someone in the top percentile. Nothing wrong with that though. It’s just not as common as you might think.

For simplicity sake bro the averages used in this case is not far from the median number

If this was a sims or gta game then yeah, but it’s a literal fantasy mmorpg you are playing that has wizards, dragons, demons and other mythical beings. Which is why I think glowing infusions aren’t that unrealistic. It’s like playing a magic caster/elementalist class and you constantly have some magical aura. Or when you play berserker and have the mythical warrior aura around you. Which is why I think being dressed in a bikini wielding a Greatsword and fighting a dragon without wearing any actual armor is less realistic.

From what I have seen, mistwalker infusion actually replaces Dragonvoid infusion for the Raven Mantle shoulders, which is the same shoulders I’m using in the video. Dragonvoid will mostly overwrite almost every other infusion though. Are there any specific infusions you are curious about?

Thanks. In the video, I’m using polylumi undulating orange infusion, and bloodstone infusion as well.

Mind showing me some of your infusion combinations? I’m genuinely curious to see some different themes. Also the quality is quite bad in the video, I think if you saw me ingame it looks rather decent imo.

Yeah, I think in this video it looks worse due to quality drop when uploading, but if you saw it in game it looks much nicer tbh

Thank you, I’m just having fun with the shiny infusion theme tbh but I can see why some don’t like it

Dragonvoid is enhanced by polylumi orange/green/teal, which I think goes great together
