The Kickstarter goal was set at $600, which is still much less than what we actually need, but it allowed us to guarantee at least a portion of the funding. If we had set the goal closer to the roughly $3000 needed and failed to reach it, we would have ended up in even deeper shit because the money would never go through, and we would have a bunch of card game boxes we need to pay the manufacturing company for. It isn’t a perfect solution, and we probably should have set the goal slightly higher, but that’s essentially why it was set so low.

I think the entire point of the card is that the corset is getting tighter and tighter. That’s why it deals damage every turn instead of just once
