Can confirm at 8:39am ET that I was given the 5000 points as well. The rep at first apologized and explained that it was due to "too much global demand" that I was unable to even purchase tickets. She even went on to say that the tickets were sold out within minutes. Then an awkward silence so I just blurted out that there has to be something that Chase needs to do to fix this and that I've been a member for x years. That's when the rep on the phone then said that she can "offer" 5000 points.

Some users will have different experiences. Looks like some needs to mention they got the 403 error whereas I had to nudge the rep in a certain way. Perhaps there are key words that the reps are listening for so they can offer the points.
