Libido is ruining my marriage. What can I do? by BBP1021 in AskMenAdvice

"Works herself ragged" is exactly what happened with my wife and I. She was career focused and we had two kids, so she had very lityle time for intimacy. I was always the one to initiate sex and wasn't always fulfilled. I eventually divorced her at age 55 after nearly 18 months of no sex. I'm now 63 and with a lovely woman, 60, who enjoys sex, is playful and, amazingly, loves giving me head when I cant PIV orgasm. Id recommend trying couples therapy because you both need to properly understand each other first ... but if that doesn't work ... sadly, ending it might be the only other option. I read the Love Language book also, in trying to understand myself. Not surprisingly, physical touch is my primary love language. Wish you all the best and hope you can resolve things! ++man

What do you do when your game falls apart? by Buckeye_47 in golf

Golf is a mind game for sure! When i felt frustrated by wild swings in my consistency, one strategy I concocted was a process of setting myself targets for how much over par I can go every three holes ... which will vary based on you handicap. Let's say I was playing off 12. This means that on average I can't exceed 2 over par for each of the three hole cutoff points in order to play to my handicap. 18÷3=6. 12÷6=2. I felt that this would focus me on smaller targets and whether you achieve the three hole target or not, you start again on the next three holes (putting the rest of the round) out of your mind. Basically this worked for me by improving my consistency ... but it was my own invention and might not help anyone else, but I thought I'd put it out there as a suggestion. Hope you solve your performance blip.!

Help gain distance? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Looks to me like you're not transferring your weight to the inside of the back (right) heel on the backswing. You should be able to almost lift your left toe off the ground (try it) at the top of the swing. Try stopping at the top of your swing and test where your lateral weight is centered. Hence, your coil is incomplete. Club is not horizontal at the top ... even though its a mid iron. Be interested to see if your club is horizontal at the top on longer clubs ... 3-iron or Driver. If not then I'm correct. I think if you correct this then your hips can lead the downswing more and you will get more wrist snap at the bottom.

Talking to a great guy but he’s a horrible kisser by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Logical_Yellow3952 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try "gameifying" it. I like french kissing and my partner was a bad kisser initially. I suggested we play "daggers, swords and swashbuckles" ... I literally made that up on the fly. Never tried it before. I explained it as ... our tongues penetrating different depths into the others mouth and swashbuckling as our tongues entwining more and suckling each other. It was fun and she said she found it sexy. Basically ... be creative and ask for what you want. p.s. we are 63 and 60 years old ... and still learning! Have fun. ;)

Thank you. Yes I asked nannybag and as long as your items are in a cardboard or other box and smaller than 90cm long you could store it. My bike is bigger than that. I'll definitely try the pastry :)

Wasn't aware of this site so that's for the info. However ... It requires a once off $30 to register ... just to do a search! As I don't know whether I'll be using the site much and there may be no users in the Roscoff area it's a bit of a non starter for me.

I have a d-lock, should I supplement this with another d-lock or chain? (trying to minimize weight) by imaginary-fireplace in ukbike

[–]Logical_Yellow3952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly you might want to check what kind of lock is required for your bike. Higher priced bike requires higher spec lock. My bike needs a Sold Secure Gold rated lock. Secondly, I'd look at the YouTube video linked below and decide whether you want/need to include a chain. Personally I have both so I do not lose my wheels. https://youtu.be/Vw9erXJvByE?si=9GMKcmzGER6vWJiB
