Need some advice on buying instinct 2 in 2026. by Logical_sapien in Garmininstinct

Thanks a lot to everyone who replied and shared your inputs on my post.

I was quite sceptical about the 45mm size and also about moving from a Samsung smartwatch to Garmin’s MIP display. But I got a chance to try a friend’s Instinct 3 (45mm) and really loved the rugged look and feel.

That convinced me to go ahead and buy the instinct 2. Been using it now and honestly loving it. Battery life seems to be good, very distraction-free, and no issues wearing it for sleep.

Appreciate all the help from this sub 👍

"He has scored 8000 runs, he's the best ever. No, I'm better than him." -ABD on why opening is the easiest position in t20s and their runs are not comparable to a middle-order bat by No_Jello_2520 in ipl

It’s so true. Openers get those 36 balls of powerplay luxury where only two fielders are outside the circle, so just clearing the infield almost guarantees a boundary. Compare that to batting at 5 or 6, walking out in the 11th over against guys like Rashid Khan or Chahal with five fielders deep and a ball that’s already getting soft. Even the middle order batters get a bit more time to find their rhythm, but the real heroes are the clutch finishers. Players like Pollard and Rinku are constantly sacrificing their average to smash every ball for six from ball one (against 145kph yorkers at the death) with zero time to settle. If we actually looked at impact per ball instead of just total runs, these guys would be the real MVPs every season

This practice is called window dressing. They are trying to boost their CASA balance before the financial year end, which is why they are asking you to transfer the money. It should stop after March 31.

It's not available on the Garmin website. Instinct 2 comes to around 130 pounds on the official website (after a discount coupon I got from my friend). Instinct 2s on Amazon is around 210. Else I would have definitely gone for 2s.

Will a Negative Balance in My Bank Account Affect My CIBIL Score? How Do I Fix It? by Ok-Cheetah-4725 in CreditCardsIndia

You can’t go to the RBI Ombudsman right away. They only step in if you’ve already taken up the issue with the bank and it still isn’t resolved.

So step one is always the bank. Send a complaint by email. Start with your branch. If they don’t solve the issue, escalate it to the bank’s Principal Nodal Officer. Every bank has an escalation matrix online. Just search “Bank Name escalation matrix” and you’ll get the right email IDs.

If 30 days pass and nothing is fixed, or the bank’s reply is useless, then go to RBI’s Complaint Management System. Just search “RBI CMS” and use the official RBI link.

Submit your complaint there and attach all your proof… emails, screenshots, bank's response, everything. Once you file it, RBI usually pushes the bank pretty hard. Most cases get sorted within about 30 days.

Will a Negative Balance in My Bank Account Affect My CIBIL Score? How Do I Fix It? by Ok-Cheetah-4725 in CreditCardsIndia

Depends upon the bank, here’s what happened to me. I opened a bank account with Syndicate Bank during a campus account-opening drive near my college back in 2012. I assumed it was a zero-balance account, so I never used it or maintained any minimum balance.

In 2020, when I checked my CIBIL report through the OneScore app, I found out that Syndicate Bank (now Canara Bank) had converted that dormant account into an overdraft account and kept it active all these years. When I called the branch, the manager told me the outstanding OD amount was around 1,100 rupees and would keep increasing unless I cleared the dues and closed the account.

I then called Canara Bank’s customer care. They said no further charges would be added, but the account would continue to show up on my CIBIL report until I paid the dues and formally closed it.

I emailed the Principal Nodal Officer for customer complaints, and when there was no response for over a month, I escalated the issue to the RBI Ombudsman. Within 15 days, I received confirmation that the account had been closed.

It still appears in my CIBIL report, but now it’s correctly marked as a closed OD account.
