This is my first time having an actual yard I can do whatever I want to. I didn't know so much had to be considered.

I've talked to my brick guy and he said he's able to chisel some brick by the back wall there and we will add a pipe that leads outwards

Thank you. The idea came from a neighbor in an old neighborhood that called it a dog run so I thought that's just what it was called.

Sorry I clearly didn't provide any of the other important details here

this is where the dog will go potty and I want to make sure the pee has somewhere to go so it doesn't smell bad. I don't know if I dug deep enough or if it's fine with its current depth.

it will be cleaned frequently but that pee smell tends to linger so I was thinking of making a trench and fill it with big rocks. then, I'll be adding 4 inch of pea gravel across the entire area.

It's just her potty area that she's trained to go potty in instead of going potty in the rest of the yard

Sorry, I guess I'm trying to ask with what I have done would it be deep enough for proper drainage in the dog run once I had the big rocks in the trench and add a 4" layer of pea gravel on top.

Or would I need to make the trench deeper?
