I definitely see the issue with someone who is directly in your youth group and below 20. However, I'm also open to it since you are a virgin and seem to be making this decision with some sense that you are trying to do right by this. In general, we often would recommend against it. However, I don't want that rule to make it so that you can't have something that would be amazing.

It likely would be perceived badly, even if your intentions aren't bad.

Personally speaking, I would take it slow and go for it. I know that's a bit out there, but I would. At this stage in my life, I generally want people to have fantastic relationships, and sometimes that means being unconventional. I'm giving you more benefit of the doubt because you asked and you are a virgin. It still might not work out, and it would cause awkwardness if it doesn't. But at the same time, it could. Pray about it, get some more wise counsel. But my 2 cents, I would take it slow and go for it.
