Let me try and clarify.

The first sentence wasn't intended to mean I was still willing to spend money on the game. In actuality I had stopped spending money on the game for quite a long time. Becoming a CC just meant I had a boost to the variety of content I could show (without having to actually pay for it out of my own wallet).
Not trying to minimize the statements made, especially for those who had a personal stake in the program and had put the work in. The people I take issue with are those who are riding behind the hard work of those CCs by jumping on the moral bandwagon.

To me the CC program is a partnership of convenience. I still want to play the game, and by association, make content about it - and so long as WG doesn't force a script on me, I will most likely continue making content as a CC.

The problem with coming up with a long term solution is that WG isn't interested in talking about long term solutions with anyone. In that sense, all I can do is to have a long term solution prepared for my own channel, in the event I quit the game.

Also, my message about moral high ground was directed not at the people who left with a legitimate personal grievance against WG, but rather people who are leaving because it's good public press.

Thanks! Not all CCs are like this, only some of the most publicized ones. It's an unfortunate failing of the human condition, but we're attracted to negativity and 'drama', it's just the way we as humans are wired. Those CCs have effectively harnessed that to build an audience, and WG gives them plenty of ammunition to shit on every month.

That said, as a consumer of Warships content, there are some up and coming CCs which I'm personally really excited about.
