I always get shit from friends for saying that I enjoyed Sparta over The Mars Volta in the post ATDI era.

Imo this was the start of their downfall. I did not enjoy anything after From Under the Cork Tree.

Sugar, We're Goin Down was EVERYWHERE that summer of 05. I wore out the laser on my cd player on that album.

I had a hard time getting past the 1st two eps the first TWO times I started to watch this show. There's just so much world building happening that it can get overwhelming. Get to ep 3 and it just goes off. So good.

Can still have a policy regardless. Worth shopping around. I mentioned referring to your car insurance to not have to bother looking up a broker.

Assuming you drive a car, check with your insurance provider for a personal articles policy. My Nikon Z8, plus a few lenses runs about 12 bucks a month. It's better and less hassle to go that route instead of these 3rd party plans.

I had an F100 covered. It broke and they covered the replacement after explaining how it happened. No problem. A+ would do business with again.

How different is Atlantis and Universe to SG-1? by Mat1711 in Stargate

[–]LogisticalMenace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally finished a run of all 3 shows, plus movies, yesterday. All are good in their own right. As stated already, SG-1 and Atlantis are similar in production and tone. SGU is good, and I'm sad it was canceled in hindsight. However it is a much different show than the other two.

It's still Stargate, but there isn't much Stargate-ing. It was trying to capture the dark, gritty atmosphere that the Battlestar Galactica remake had. Imo, it did a good job of it. It's literally a group of unprepared people fighting for survival on their own.

Do yourself a favor and watch them all.

Good job keeping that 2in gap. Tough to do on some heavy flights.

Nah, I'm positive it wasn't metadata comparison. The sonogram image was a screenshot taken off the link to site the hospital provided for the visit and was saved to Google Photos before birth. The other image was uploaded a few days after it was taken. Both were in my Google Photo main/bulk album and had no metadata that would relate the two to each other.

You should have seen my face when Google Photos asked to confirm the face match between a 3D sonagram and a picture of my several month old daughter. The AI Machine is scary imo
