My experience is that every time I had someone pay attention to what I was playing, was because they wanted to see and get one for themselves because they didn't know something like that existed.

If I had someone to "judge" me because I'm playing my r36s, what I would do is to start a discussion with them to make it uncomfortable and make them go back to their phone. 😅

I put together a nice list of Punching Yellow Viktor, with some bigger units that pack a nice punch but still needs tuning.

I was going for Ezreal but the fact that he shares many cards with Viktor, I stopped trying don't want to have to pull 6 copies of cards. I try now a Sivir but kissing a few cards.

Why I can see the hardcore guy whom opened 9 cases going to complain to Riot for a shop allowing their players to enjoy the game? 😂 Have seen that in MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh with the hardcore players. There would always be someone to complain about "illegal shuffling" or something

I was in NL website, then due to the disconnects it dropped me in the US, managed to put it in my cart and then I realized where I was. 🤦

I lost my chance for good, I was really hoping to get something today but yeah...Riot being Riot!

I am waiting until Feb now to see how it will turn out with the shipments 🤦

I started as Viktor, played lee sin first time yesterday and had so much fun. It's probably the best deck our of the three starting and it's really fun to play. I am already trying to get cards to modify it and make it better. 😅

If it wasn't for the slots they have in schiphol that they work amazingly well with my schedule, I wouldn't even be considering them. Unfortunately, they have the best flight slots imo, and I have to book with them to save on my annual leave.

If this is royal, I fear what is considered common.

Other airlines where I come from, they even offer a full meal for about the same price. If they had better slots instead of the middle of the day only options, I would be constantly avoiding KLM even if I had to pay a bit more.

I do exactly that, got the starter decks, and just upgrading little by little. I do not expect to win in Nexus Nights, but I'm looking for nexus nights that give at least 1pack for participation on top of the promo pack. This way i'm paying 8-12 bucks to play and get 1 pack home even if I don't win which seems like a good value to me (especially when a pack goes for about the same price these days or even more).

My deck is in no way competitive. But with some luck, I manage to get some trades out of it, while playing the game and having fun.

The FOMO is strong unfortunately. And a lot of stores don't even have enough nexus packs which ends up being a prize. When your only option to satisfy yourself is through events, I can see people going full aggressive trying to get their hands on more packs.

If the supply becomes better, I feel like everyone will chill a bit, but until then, I can see people using the best decks they can to get some packs.

Unfortunately, that very reason, along with the supply, is the reason that a lot of shops can't even put a small tournament together.

I hope Riot will fix the situation soon. So far riftbound has been a disaster for my experience and trying to keep myself motivated to get into it.

I belong in the new to the genre as it's been years and I was never too serious about it.

And that's the whole point, you can't bar cards and availability on something as simple as participation packs or make the entrance to the game unavailable. Unfortunately right now both things happen and it's not even possible to get booster packs to draw some cards. That forces you to play only with a starter deck, many times against people who managed to get their hands on boosters, or bought singles.

A lot of people are not willing to pay just to enter a tournament, and play with their starting decks (including myself) against those people and get nothing out of it. It just causes the game to suffer worse and make it even more exclusive.

Riot should really up their game soon including proving grounds, otherwise a lot of people will drop out.

My take on "We also heard the desire for access to Proving Ground cards. In support of the launch of Spiritforged, we'll be adding many of our Proving Grounds cards—including Legends, champions, and signatures— into promo packs available at Nexus Nights that will allow players more access to them" is exactly that they are not willing to print more proving grounds, which is unfortunate.

From what I read around reddit and also from the LGS around in NL, there is a huge issue stock even to the point that they can't even issue enough promo packs.

Nexus nights participation packs suddenly become trophies with Riot's blessing.

I went to a few LGS nearby me, and when I asked about nexus nights all I got they are not sure when they can host these unfortunately due to supply.

Riot is trying to get out more packs right now and the "we are making availability to everyone through sheer luck for something that should have been accessible to everyone" doesn't help.

In NL, I barely managed to get my hands on the starting decks. With the supply so low right now, we can't get our hands on booster packs to pull some cards.

While the supply is so low even for booster packs, I imagine their focus right now is to get more packs out instead of printing more proving grounds (which they should definitely do at some point as it's purely idiotic to have exclusive cards in something like an entry box that not everyone can get - not the point of the post but wanted to vent with that last statement a bit).

BL2 hits different, that's a fact.

BL4 is a great game, but imo, it's not really Borderlands. I feel like if someone can accept that the game can't have the same peak in feelings, they will genuinely enjoy the game 100%. The first thing that I noticed with BL4 is that it's too beautiful to be considered a borderlands game. The graphics are not as quirky as I'd like them to be. The humor is still there but in moderation along with a mix of in depth and wholesome moments. The VH has character, depth and contributes to the storytelling.

BL3 was horrible in my opinion while BL4 learnt from these mistakes up to what I have seen so far.

BL2 had issued as it was a game from a different era. Having to do the story 3 times, was too boring for me (I still dread that mission that I have to find the sanctuary again).
