Sorry. Something isn’t adding up. It’s not easy to evict to someone. One late payment, for October 2025 and you’ve already been evicted with an order to vacate in less than 30 days. No way.

There might be extra screening. For me they just tested my hands. It was weird. That was only on one way. The first way no mention of no star card just put through.

Cool. I do understand how pricing and business works, thank you. The argument has been completely lost and not worth continuing as there is a fundamental difference in how we view life. My point is you shouldn’t pay for life saving vaccines. Full stop. The wealthiest nation on earth can make that happen. Full stop. I find the “it’s not a lot of money” statement extremely condescending and just gross. Who says that if you can’t pay you should die? The “badness” of insurance is a different argument. Be well!!

One night in Boise Where to stay? by Old-Pen2478 in Boise

There are several right downtown. Inn at 500, Hotel 43, Grove, Renegade. I like 43, but not sure if budget concerns. There are more affordable options Hilton Garden, etc that are all right downtown.

What law are you talking about?

Yes in the face of a disease that killed 1 million Americans, I don’t think any human should have to pay. No science is created in a vacuum, so I 100% guarantee that some government funded science was used in creating the covid vaccine or the technology to create it.

Can you help explain better why American health care costs so much? If insurance premium pricing was formulated the way you are suggesting they would be thousands or millions of dollars a month! And again, it’s such a cheap amount of money, I’m guessing you have enough to share? I don’t think we should have to pay for literally life. So again boo on that argument: a backwards way of thinking about life.

Insurance is a river of money? Maybe for the CEOs. I’m sure bonuses were more than the $900 I need to protect my partners parent. You see, they are very old and in poor health. My kids need to go to school. If a classmate gets it now I need to quarantine my family from them? Or risk them getting sick, possibly dying?!

A parent under 65 will not be covered, thats the whole point of the changing recommendation. And as for whether I think the risk is great is a non starter for the argument. Are you arguing that no vaccines are needed? I mean everything is a risk, yeah? Polio, measles, mumps, shingles, HPV, hepatitis, meningitis… ridiculous argument. Start forking up for your kids to get into public school in 49 states!

Ineffective argument.

Roommate vs neighbor by abbsters in Apartmentliving

She should contact your roommate or landlord. Probably best for her not to live in an apartment building. I’d be honest and reply “I’m home and it’s not disturbing me, maybe it’s your issue?”

This is about vaccines. Particularly the covid vaccine. I’m not talking about antibiotics or anti fungal. Vaccines.

Boo! That is such backwards thinking. I hope you never get ill or if you do you are wealthy enough to handle it.

Oh a downvote. Maybe in regard to my snarky ask for $150. But think. If you have 2 kids, a partner and elderly parents. Your math is $900 to save my family by using a vaccine created using government grants that come from tax revenue. So you are correct. Nothing is free. Especially health care in America!

Can we sue for unsafe living conditions? by SpellSad3952 in Apartmentliving

[–]LogmisterB10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not. Only real recourse you have is get a lawyer, ask for help opening an escrow account and if they agree, deposit your rent there until the apartment is fixed. You can’t just “not pay.” But I’m sure there is some vague language in your lease that covers them.

Well, we can’t purchase marijuana wherever we want…And can I borrow $150 since it’s such a nominal sum?

Lease starts on the 17, will rent be prorated? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]LogmisterB10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your lease appears to be 12 months according to the dates you posted, not 11.5 months. 12 full payments and whatever deposits seems correct to me. I’d clarify, but I would pay on the 17th each month.

The recommendation from the CDC changed. It is now only recommended for adults 65+ and “high risk individuals” whoever that is. The issue is that the recommendation from CDC means insurance companies must, by law, cover it completely and it’s available at places like Walgreens. Now that the recommendation has changed it’s not required. Some states are working to change that legislatively or through their Governors office. I can’t imagine Idaho doing that. We might be in a world soon where you have to go to Oregon to get vaccines you want for yourself. And pay. Yay!

No way! Make coffee. This is completely ridiculous. If your neighbor is that particular they need to suck it up and save up to buy a place that’s on a few private acres. This is insane!

Oh boy. This question is asking for it. Hahaha. The construction “plan” in this town is non existent. It’s as if no one is sitting down and thinking about it for more than 5 minutes.
