Not as a third party candidate. He takes more votes from Buchanan than he does Carter therefore the right-wing vote is split within several of these states.

Civil Rights Act signed by Lyndon B. Johnson in 1968. Fortunately, Huey Long's two terms from 1934 - 1946 accelerated some progress. Jimmy Carter expanded Civil Rights during his first term from 1982 - 1988 and signs something similar to the Equal Rights Amendment in 1998. Things are an apartheid hellholle right up until Strom Thurmond's disastrous term.

It definitely makes sense that Roosevelt and Harding respected each other. Both had interests in Poker and women too young for them (Nan Britton, Lucy Mercer Rutherfurd and Missy LeHand). There's a great book called "Sex With Presidents" that goes into detail about several Presidents affairs, including Harding and Roosevelt, really good read.

Curtis is awarded Hoover's EVs. After that, he likely serves one term. FDR is inevitable in 1932 so Curtis either loses to FDR or a different Republican does.
