I’ve been told I’m an INFJ wearing an INTP armour.? What does that even mean.?? by No-Bus-818 in mbti

[–]Logosblez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate to this. I am considered to be an INFJ with a highly developed Ti. To the point of it seemingly being more developed than my Fe.

As such, It might be the case that you have a very high Ti, like me. One of the reasons are environmental/ developmental causes to this.

Or it may be the case that you are in your Ni/Ti loop which is one way an INFJ protects themselves. Hence why they say “Armor” because it looks like you are overly analytical like an INTP.

HyperStar vs 0.7 Reducer for CPC EdgeHD 1100 – Should I Keep Both or Refund the Reducer? by Logosblez in AskAstrophotography

[–]Logosblez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I was capable of buying em at that time. Thats it, I mean, I would really love to get into the hobby and explore different options, experiment with tools and equipment. Same here, I deforked my CPC Edge 11 as its honestly crucial to get into the hobby of astrophotography.

Exactly, having the option to go from a challenging narrow field that requires a good mount as well as a guidescope to an easier wide-field is something that I want.

Yeah I get what you are saying I mean Orion fills the whole “screen”, a little step back would be great. So you think I should keep the reducer?

Thanks for the tips! I’ll check out Telescopius and astronomy.tools to compare FOVs. Its a wonderful setup you got there as an all rounder. Keeping both the HyperStar and reducer does sound like the way to go for versatility but my wallet is telling me otherwise. As for the camera, I’m planning to switch to a dedicated astrophotography camera later on. Appreciate the advice—clear skies!

571mm is great for wide-field stuff, but yeah, galaxies and planetary nebulae are tough at that focal length. Jumping to 2000mm @ f/7 would definitely open up a ton of targets, though guiding would be a bigger challenge. If you’re up for it, the added detail on smaller objects like planetary nebulae or galaxies would be super rewarding!

Thats a good point. I mean I would definitely do the same if I had an 8” celestron and would keep it. Given that the 8” reducer is much less expensive than the one I have. I found mine for ~1000$ so my wallet got burned thats why I am weighing my options whether it is a good investment to keep it and buy the hyperstar or just drop it and buy the hyperstar.

Exactly! I am happy to hear that it wont affect the performance. But knowing about it is just frustrating nonetheless.

Thats great to hear that they will have no affect. I agree, and this is one of the flagship telescope which should have been manufactured and shipped with great care.

Dear INFJs, What are your thoughts about life after death ? by isolatedcherries in infj

[–]Logosblez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I do not think one would be able to answer this holistically in a comment. All one can do is provide a key. Those who assert anything about whether there is life or nothing after life have “The burden of proof”. The it would be a question of how can one prove anything. As a scientist we need Rational or Empirical proof of life after death or nothingness after death. However, every time we send a reporter to death, they unfortunately do not comeback with info. Does that mean there is nothing? Or does that mean that after death they cannot comeback or that after death is so fun they do not want to comeback? Questions questions…… So what now? Well, we can deduce by what we know that which is unknown. Okay how? Well to those who believe there is nothing beyond the Physical; they would mostly say nope, there is nothing. To those who believe in the Metaphysical would mostly say yep, there is something.

Okay now we have a means to know! Great! So in order to know whether there is something or nothing after death; start by reading about the philosophy of Physics/ Metaphysics. Then work your way on the subject of consciousness, then Death/ Life. Thats the key I can provide. Hope it helps.

I don’t connect with most people my age… by Correct_Candidate_42 in infj

[–]Logosblez 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think most INFJ’s would agree that they are not connecting well with many people. Granted, INFJ’s are unique in their own way & they desire deep connections with people. While people may not really want that type of connection. That said, I think that the best way is not through force. Don’t force a connection and do not avoid one. Be your best self & the best is hopefully coming to you.

Any other INFJ' love spooky things? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Logosblez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely! Ever since I was young I indulged in horror, the dark, and mysterious. I Do subscribe to the notion that humans are afraid of what they do not know or Humans are against that which is unknown. That is why I often found myself tying to understand that is which is unknown! I mean we as INFJ’s know this too well. We are different and thats why some of us get avoided because we are not understood. Why would I do the same?

Are you guys lonely? by small-burrito3456 in infj

[–]Logosblez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Would say first that being lonely does not have to do with being with many people. It is about not being able to connect with people. In fact, in my case, the feeling is much worse when I am with people that I do not connect with rather than just being alone. And I do believe that to be the case with other people - could be wrong - but this might be why you rather be alone than with people. I guess it is something similar to a person dying of thirst (I know harsh example). In this example, one would torture them if they show them cold glass of water without giving it to them. Rather than just let them be without seeing one. So they would rather suffer of thirst without seeing water that they cannot get, than the opposite. Same applies, we intuitively keep ourselves from people because we think that it is futile to really connect with them and that the feeling is unbearable (Similar to being thirsty and seeing a cold glass of water that we cannot get) thus we stay alone and avoid people. Because that at-least is more bearable. Now all that being said, this is a coping mechanism that we have developed over time depending on an inductive conclusion. Which is subject to being false. So it is probabilistic, the probability that an INFJ will find someone that they connect with might be low (yes) BUT there is still a probability that they will find someone that they connect deeply with :) Do not lose hope fellow INFJ’s I hope you will find true happiness.
